Shannon's space

Wow, life is busy here.  Anthony is in soccer this fall so he does that 2 nights a week.  Sure is hard to get dinner in when you need to be at the field by 6:00.  We have been getting used to the new schedule.   Eric's brother is getting married this weekend, so that will keep us busy.  Anthony is having a Halloween party this year for all his friends. He is really excited to play musical chairs with them.  I always loved that game too.    Sadly, my baby turns 2 this month.   Hard to believe since he is still so tiny.   He is wearing 18-24 month clothes with the waist rolled over and the sleeve cuffed.  I guess his way of being smaller a little longer.  We have been fighting colds for about 2 weeks now.  I thounght mine was gone, but it is back.    It could be a long winter.  I hope everyone is enjoying fall so far.  I am looking forward to our trip to the pumpkin patch.  Stay warm and healthy.

Wow, the past month has just flown by!   We enjoyed the last month of summer.   Too bad it was so cool the last 2 weeks.  Hard to believe that we are in long sleeves and pants already!   Eric and I celebrated our 7th anniversary by having the boys to do Grandma and Grandpa's.  We rented some movies and ordered a pizza.   Anthony has started kindergarten and totally loves it.  He is not at the point were he tells us what he does each day, but we hope that comes.  Nathaniel is saying more that we understand which is good.  We will start our ECFE class again here in a couple weeks.  Sure is quiet here in the afternoons.  I am getting a lot done which is great.   I am running my 3rd 5K next Saturday.  Also, Anthony is going to run the kids fun run.   Hope all are enjoying the cool weather.

 

The summer has sure gone by quickly!  We have been spending most days at the local beach.   I ran my 2nd 5K, improved my time a little, but not as much as I had hoped.   I am planning to run another in September providing Eric is home from Mexico, another work trip.    Anthony turned 5!  Wow, where did all the time go?   We had a party with his friends at the bowling alley and then a party here at home.   Lego's are so big right now, Eric and I had lots of things to help him put together.   I just celebrated my birthday too.   Sure do not feel any older, expect the days when Nathaniel wanted to get up at 5:45.

Wow, where has the time gone?   Summer is just whizzing by!   Eric made it to Germany and back home safely.   Anthony had a great time in Tee-ball and loved the fact that Eric was his coach.  I think Eric had just as much fun as all the kids did.   We are gearing up for Anthony's 5th birthday!  Where did time go?  Seems like yesterday he was just a baby.   Now, he is learning to read, riding a bike with no training wheels, and picking his own clothes out for kindergarten!  AHHH!   Either way I have to embrace this time or I will miss all the excitement.  Nathaniel just goes along for the ride.  He is trying so hard each day to say more and more.   Sometimes we figure it out and well, other times he just has the coversation to himself.   I just signed up to run my 2nd 5K.   It will end up being amost a year from when I started running.  I just had to get my 2nd pair of shoes out.   Not too much else new here.  We are staying busy, trying to be thrifty people with the cost of everything going up.  Most days, you will find us as the beach!  

We had a wonderful time in Disney.  The looks on the boys' face were priceless.  They just loved it.   Anthony got to go on Space Mountain, which he really wanted to do.  We learned the Nathaniel's favorite character is Goofy.   As well, he got to go on many of the rides too.  The Playhouse Disney stage show was great!  As well, our friends put up having us crash at their home and run around crazy with us.   Just some pictures...
